When Pretty Ladies Come To Tea...

...one must have cup cakes! Madison and Katie and Tina came over yesterday and we decorated cup cakes for our tea party. Katie had never had tea before and thought it was pretty good if you put enough sugar in it. She managed 3 cups, while Madison drank tea until there was no more tea. "Could I have more tea please?" (voice going up at the end) We had a lovely afternoon with our tea and cup cakes and cheese and more cheese. Haha! I think the cheese cubes were a bigger hit than the cup cakes for the eating part. We followed up with several rounds of Hi Ho Cherry-O in which I lost miserably every time. Silly birds at my cherries every time. Madison, who had never played before did really well and won or almost won every time. She enjoyed it immensely. : D Madison then proceeded to instruct Tina and I in the art of "Princess Dances". Hehe, I'm afraid she was much better at it than we were, but we had fun anyways. Thanks for a lovely afternoon!

We Love DE Beaches!

Two Sundays ago, we hit up the beach with Ben and Mel for some much needed  R&R. Yay for Mel finishing her summer classes! We just relaxed... and then we relaxed some more. Had some snacks, and continued relaxing... Then we had dinner at Cracker Barrel which left something to be desired, but it was just nice to "Relax" together. Did I say that word enough times. : P Sunday evenings on the beach when it is not toooo hot and not too many people are just the best!

Victory Family Week

"Everybody who loves Victory put your hands up!" Isaac, Mark, Jude, & I surely did after spending five days there this past week. We had a blast and a half from start to finish. Thanks Joe for letting us "live" at your campsite, and share in pretty much everything you had/did. We loved having a place "to go". Mark and Jude had SO  much fun with cousin Nicky and Papa & Grandma, especially in the pool! We went to bed late, ate lots of  "treats" and snacks, and snow cones, and ice cream, and our room looked like a hurricane went through it, but we still had the best time ever!

Saturday an Sunday were pretty much taken up with play practices/performances so Jude got to hang out with his "bestie", Mary Pang. Thanks Mary! : D He kept spotting her and shouting loudly every time she drove past on the "Watch Golf Cart". Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Monday was the parade, lots of bouncy house type things, and more pool time! Tues was Family Day, with a pretty cool medieval theme. It was super fun to see all the costumes and all the effort that was put out to make it a really special day. Wednesday we cam marching home Hurrah, Hurrah! Dropped the boys off at home with all their gear, minus Mark's crocks, : S stayed for pizza and wings and mango lassi. A perfect ending to an awesome week. : D

I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story... Keep scrolling... There's lots. : )
