Easter

Since almost all my family was in TN over Easter, Isaac and I went to his parents for Easter dinner/afternoon. Was really nice. I only have the one pic of Debbie and Jude, who konked out poor guy. We went over to the meeting hall for the Easter egg hunt in the afternoon, and in the evening all the youth girls were invited over to Miller's house for a camp fire. Was kinda a different Easter, but a very, very nice and memorable one. At the campfire, we started making shadows on the barn wall with a flash light. The girls had a blast! My strong.... cough... arms never got tired.... ; )

Poor boy was tired : )

 Good Friends!

 Waiting patiently? to begin...

"The Boys"

"The Boys" as they are quite fondly called, (Madison and Maia are referred to as "The Girls") came over one day to play while mommy was out. These pics are actually from two different days, but it doesn't matter what the day is... we always have lots of fun. : ) I think I have some of the coolest (and cutest!) nephews and nieces in the whole world!

Washable!!! : )

Oh Yeah!

I Love Nugatti!!! (chocolate bread)

He went in the cage of his own free will. ; )

Jude was not to be seen with out George...

 He Loved my harmonica!

He was watching cartoons and trying to play at the same time.

 More paints...

Youth Feast Honorable

We had a youth feast in Feb. with an Oriental theme. We ordered in Chinese take out and all the tables were set on the ground so everybody sat on the floor. I wish I had pictures of it, but I was in the kitchen most of the time until they raised the tables so maybe someone else can show you Teresa. I think maybe Mel got some. The whole room looked very cool. We started off with food, and then had some edification, and then some games. Each table was a team and was competing against each other. Our team did pretty well on most of the competitions. Was a very cool evening, with some quite good costumes. Once again wish I had more pics… oh well, que sera sera. Enjoy the ones I did get.

Paul was our byggmeister...

The cards were brand new and extremely slippery and this was our structure for the part of the competition to see whose could hold the most weight.

Ours actually held up quite admirably: )

This one however took the cake... or should we say "ice cream"

We had to suspend the two forks using only a tooth pick...and they couldn't touch the glass. Our team won because we were the only team to succeed, even though it was done incorrectly.

This is how it was supposed to be done. Makes no sense at all how this works...

The Last Of The Snow! I Hope...

Kinda late I know but I thought these were some sorta cool pics from the last big snow we had, and when I say big snow, I mean BIG snow! Beginning of Feb. we got dumped with another who knows how many more inches of snow an this stuff was WET and HEAVY! Joe, Joey, & Liz have become our snow friends and have spent the night and various evening with us. We are always glad to have them! : ) And Ben too... : )

A Hippo came to visit... : )

The front of our yard got PILED with snow again. Note the neighbor's car all covered up back there. It didn't come out for a while. Also note the other neighbor's once again CLEARED driveway! : o

Dad came and cleared our out! "Yay Dad...."

We Had A Grand Time

During the brother's conference in Salem, Abbie and Diana spent the weekend with me. We had lots of fun and i couldn't have asked for better house guests. After sleeping in on Saturday morning... what else could we have done in the afternoon but to.... take a nap. Hehe, how often do you get to do that when friends come over? We then played Toss Up. This game comes HIGHLY recommended by all who play it and especially by Diana after that weekend. : ) Instead of a regular dinner we decided to have a tea party with a miniature tea set I had. Well, we didn't actually have tea, but we did have some hot chocolate with mini marshmallows. We then discovered that toasting the mini marshmallows over candles tasted WAY better than the regular ones and took half the time. After “tea” we played more Toss Up and waited for midnight to come because at midnight we were going to make pudding. (Sounds like a healthy weekend right? : )We did eat some veggies I promise. Hehe) Meanwhile, it was snowing and snowing... and snowing. Looked really nice, and luckily it didn't make it so the girls had to miss more school. Pretty soon I think with all this snow we keep getting, they will have to go to school til July! : S We hope not.... Enjoy the pics! : )

Midnight pudding served warm... YUM
