Fall Time
We've been having a lovely fall. Crisp weather, but not yet really cold. The leaves are turning beautiful colors everywhere and crunching when you step on them. Last Saturday, Isaac & I took three of the younger boys to Fifer Orchards to pick some pumpkins and see what we could see. We had a lot of fun as you can see from the pics. : ) Yesterday, I went back with James, Roshini, Mark, & Jude and we all had some fresh apple cider donuts and a lot more fun. I must say they come highly recommended. We also had Esther and Nathan over for the weekend and had lots of fun with them. I think it is VERY cool having a whole house instead of just a basement or a bedroom to have people over in. And to answer the frequently asked question... "So, how's married life?" I am most enjoying being married to my best friend. I's the luckiest girl there is. : D

Life As A Sacra...
Or at least married to one. : ) I don't know as a personally feel like a Sacra so much yet but i imagine over time I'll at least stop calling myself Maria Byler. Kinda funny to have a different name, but pretty cool. I don't have many wedding pics yet so but here's a couple. For more pics, check Teresa's blog if you haven't done so already. You will have to scroll down though because she is definately better about posting than me and already has several more posts up. : ) Thanks so much to everybody who came and who helped make it an awesome day! ~ Maria Sacra~

The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...!
or "The case of mistaken identities!

"For the longest time Isaac has been asked on more than one occasion "So, how's your wife doing?" or " How's the little one doing?" and then "How're the kids doing ??!"
If anyone thought that matters would get simpler March 8th after the newest addition to the Sacra family aka me/Maria was announced....far from it!
Now "they" want to know: Why is "Maria" engaged to James! or more embarassingly, "What're you doing with Roshini's husband?!" No kidding!
The final straw is that James and Isaac mix US up!! Seriously!!And we're going, "Umm.....GUYS.......One's brown, the other's not!" Of course both of us realize that it's easy to mistake the Sacra brothers for each other, but when WE get pulled into the tangle of "mistaken identities", we find that a little comical ....
They sure look like family! right...? Not so fast!
And if you were one of those who thought so, you definitely need to scroll down ...
As someone once said...."Life is not "TheTempest", Neither is it "A Midsummer's Night Dream". It's just "A Comedy of Errors", So take it "As you like it"!
It's our version of a "Who's who" :) We've had fun with it and hope you do too!
Our side of the story
Just for the record
they do work well together...

Where in the world did spring go?
We jumped from about 50 degrees to 96 degrees (10-35 C) in just a little more than 48 hrs. I call that missing out on spring. Sat. & Sun. it was hot an sticky out. Since I have been sitting in the AC of my office all day, I'm not sure what it is doing out there at this moment, but I think it is hot still.
Yesterday, was one of those non stop days. In the morning there was a baptism, where 6 people were baptised. That was awesome to see and so good to be reminded of the covenant I personally have made with God. For lunch all the young couples went to Silver Lake Park for a picnic. Everybody brought a bit of food and what a summer feast we had. : ) Grilled chicken quarters (They were fantastic Ben!), fruit and veggie platters, doritos, chocolate cake... yum... (actually, the choc cake wasn't too bad, which Kris took as a compliment from me seeing as I don't usually like choc cake. Except for Roshini's) Was really really hot, but a very nice time. Twas mine an Isaac's first "couples" event. Pretty cool it was. : ) Still kinda funny to think about though sometimes.
Later that evening, we went to Ang's National Honor Society induction ceremony at school where we met my freshman English teacher who I had 9 yrs ago an Isaac had for drama in middle school about 17 yrs ago. Hehe, she of course remembered him as well, (much to his amazement )and we had a good laugh at how long ago it was. After that, we went to the girls house where we finished off our day with a really nice evening with waffles and strawberries and of course the company of good friends. Thanks everybody for a really great day. P.S. Since I'm at work and don't have my pics with me, I will try to stick a few to go with this post on here a bit later. Hehe, see if that happens. Oh well, at least I wrote something right? : )
P.P.S After work now. Imagine that... I really did get some pics posted. : )

Wedding Date Change!
"I love Nascar..." or I don't... Especially when the the bi-annual race at Dover International Speedway falls on our projected wedding date. For anybody not familiar with what it is like in Dover on a Race weekend, let me describe the traffic situation for you. For a week beforehand, race fans begin coming in and putting up campers all over town. Dover has a population of approx 36,000. On race weekend, the number of people spikes to about 200,000! If you are trying to get into the Dover area Friday night, drive around during any non race time on Sat. or leave again on Sunday, you can pretty much just plan on sitting in your car, bumper to bumper, and hoping that your car does not overheat or run out of gas. Therefore... our wedding date has been set for Sept. 12, 2009. Official announcements and invitations will follow, but for anybody who happens to follow along here, you get a heads up.
Thanks again to everybody for all the comments on the blog and emails that were sent. There was almost no way to reply to them all. Really is incredible how many friends you can have. Oh, and I wasn't trying to make people "fess up" or anything that they had been checking my site without leaving a comment. : ) I actually never expected that many people to check it anyways and since I only knew of a few who did, it was a bit of a surprise. Kinda nice to hear from people though.

That enough people for you??? Yes, this is a real pic of Dover. (Def NOT taken by me)
